15-km-long elevated road along southern Patna soon: Union minister Nitin Gadkari

PATNA: The Centre may soon take up works for construction of a 15-km long elevated road from Anisabad to Kacchhi Dargah at Patna. Besides, a multi- level junction or rotary will be constructed at Pahadi on zero miles to facilitate smooth movement of vehicles from both flanks of Mahatma Gandhi Setu as well as a proposed four- lane bridge parallel to the Setu.

Officials claimed that assurances in this regard were given by union minister of road transport and highways Nitin Gandkari on Tuesday while reviewing a number of ongoing and proposed highways and bridge projects in Bihar.
