15 arrests made in one day as drugs and cash seized

Cash, drugs and stolen bikes were seized by police in a day of raids.

Merseyside Police revealed that officers carried out a series of searches in the St Helens area, uncovering a slew of illicit materials. Several arrests were made as a result of the findings.

Among the arrests was a man arrested on suspicion of drugs importation and possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.

Officers also arrested a man in St Helens after witnessing a drug deal on the street. He was arrested on possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.

A man was arrested for possession with intent to supply illegal drugs suspected to be Class A. A search revealed further Class A drugs, cash, and other drug supply material within an address.

A stolen motorbike was recovered on the Dream site in Bold, with records showing that the bike had been stolen from the Warrington area on March 17 of this year.

A car carrying two women was stopped and searched in the town centre and a search of the vehicle revealed a quantity of suspected Class A drugs. Both were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.

Another man was arrested for possession with intent to supply illegal drugs suspected to be Class A. Searches revealed further Class A drugs, cash, and other drug supply material within an address.

A drugs warrant was also executed at an address in Parr. A high value electric bike recovered from the address, which was suspected to be stolen.

Overall, Merseyside Police claims that eight properties were searched, five vehicles searched, approximately £2500 cash seized and a total of 15 arrests were made.
