£15,000 Nottinghamshire house that 'generates £5,400 annual income' up for sale

A Nottinghamshire house has been advertised for sale at a guide price of £15,000+. The Mansfield property is due to be auctioned on Thursday, February 9, 2023.

Homes across the East Midlands are set to go under the hammer next month. For those looking to invest in bricks and mortar, the £15,000 guide price property could well spark some interest, especially as the auctioneer has said that the house currently generates an annual income of £5,400.

With some properties in Bond Wolfe’s next auction being advertised at starting prices as low as £10,000 the firm's chief executive Gurpreet Bassi, explained: “The attractive prices starting at just £10,000+ are because some are in need of modernisation, but they offer excellent potential returns on investment.”

Of course, £15,000 for the Mansfield home mentioned above is simply the guide price and depending upon interest, the property could eventually sell at a much higher price. However, Gurpreet says the homes offer "excellent value to both buy-to-let investors and first-time buyers".

The residential investment is a two-bedroomed, mid-terraced house - number 5 Lord Street, Mansfield, in Nottinghamshire. It is described as having two reception rooms and a kitchen on the ground floor, with two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Outside, there is a yard at the back of the property. The auctioneer says that the house has gas central heating and double glazing.

Across the border in Derbyshire, are a couple of semi-detached homes that are also listed at enticing guide prices. The neighbouring houses at 13 and 15 Lathkill Avenue in Ilkeston, are listed for £29,000 to £34,000. Both are three-bedroomed homes and each needs modernisation.

The two properties have gardens front and rear with a hall, reception room and kitchen downstairs and three bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, plus gas central heating and double glazing.

Mr Bassi added: “The range of residential properties listed for sale in our February auction all offer excellent value for investors and house hunters alike." Adding: “We predict some fierce bidding on the day as buyers vie for the best bargains.”

The East Midlands properties will be among 161 lots appearing in Bond Wolfe’s auction. Due to start at 9am on Thursday, February 9> The sale will be livestreamed via Bond Wolfe’s website with remote bidding by proxy, telephone or internet.
