Nottingham Forest have been told that Morgan Gibbs-White and Brennan Johnson are worth £120 million this summer, as the club fight off interest in the latter.
The Reds have reportedly turned down an offer from Brentford for academy graduate Johnson this summer. The Bees are said to have offered a fee of £30 million.
He impressed in his first season in the Premier League in 2022/23, after playing a key part in the club’s promotion the previous season. Aston Villa are among other teams to be credited with an interest in the Wales international.
He played a total of 38 league games, scoring eight goals and providing three assists. It was Johnson, along with summer signing Gibbs-White who caught the eyes of people looking from outside the club, with their performances.

After a summer move from Wolves, Gibbs-White scored five times and provided eight assists in 37 Premier League appearances. He is currently in action with England U21s as they look to make it into the European Championship final at the weekend.
His performances on both the domestic and international stage are bound to have sparked interest. It led to a Tottenham fan suggesting on BBC Five Live’s 606 that Spurs should make a move for Gibbs-White this summer.
It led to a response from former Leicester City and Derby County midfielder Robbie Savage who estimated how much the Reds would get for both Gibbs-White and Johnson should they decide to cash in this summer. There is nothing to suggest that will be the case, with both being key players for Steve Cooper ’s side in the new season.
“They got him for £40 million,” Savage said on Gibbs-White. “You think it would be more than £40 million if he was to leave? Even if they allowed him to leave.
“Brennan Johnson has also been mentioned. I think Brentford were linked with him.
"Brennan Johnson and Morgan Gibbs-White, for Forest, are worth survival in the Premier League. Those two, they are probably worth £120 million between the pair of them.”
