120Hz ProMotion is so last year Apple — Razer announces new versions of its Blade laptops that feature displays of up to 240Hz

Razer Apple Laptops CES

Razer Blade 16 and 18 laptops.

In the lead-up to CES on January 9, gaming brand Razer has announced a refresh of its line of Blade 16 and 18 laptops. For 2024, the main highlight is a huge increase in the refresh rate for its displays, in collaboration with Samsung.

The Razer Blade 16 now packs a 16-inch 4K display that can run up to 240Hz. This is twice the amount that Apple’s ProMotion feature can run on supported MacBook Pros and iPhones. Although its bigger brother, the Razer Blade 18 can now run up to 165Hz, that’s still higher than Apple’s take.
