MORE than 1000 people have backed a fundraiser for a 12-year-old bagpiper after he had “liquid” thrown at him during an “intimidating experience” when he was allegedly confronted by a social media influencer while busking in Edinburgh.
Elliot Wilson, a member of the Preston Lodge High School Pipe Band, said he was left “really upset” after his pipe case was “ruined” and his kilt in need of dry cleaning after he was surrounded by a large group of youths led by a popular social media streamer.
