A government Covid map has revealed the 12 Nottinghamshire neighbourhoods with Covid infection rates higher than the national average. Areas shown in purple on the Government's Covid map have higher Covid rates than other neighbhourhoods, with the latest data being accurate as of April 16.
Market Warsop has the highest rate coming in at nearly 600 per 100,000 people. By contrast, a number of suburbs in the city have rates lower than 100, with areas such as St Ann's keeping their rate as low as 55 cases per 100,000 people.
It comes as a third of people aged 75 and over in England have had their “spring booster” of the Covid-19 vaccine, new figures show. Some 33.6% of over-75s had received the jab as of April 17, up from just over a quarter (26.1%) a week earlier.
