Around 12 equity mutual funds delivered over 70% absolute return in the last three and five years, an analysis by ETMutualFunds showed. There were 218 funds that completed five years of existence in the market.
Among these 12 funds, four funds were from Invesco India Mutual Fund and two funds were from Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund, while one fund each came from Bandhan Mutual Fund, Bank of India, Edelweiss Mutual Fund, HSBC Mutual Fund, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, and ITI Mutual Fund.
Bandhan Small Cap Fund delivered 89.22% absolute return in the last three years and 130.97% in the last five years. This was followed by another small cap fund, Bank of India Small Cap Fund, which gave 76.48% and 132.50% absolute return in the last three and five years respectively.
