1000-lb Sisters star Amy Slaton has been accused of using her recent pregnancy as an "excuse for unhealthy eating" in the new TLC series.
The reality TV star, 35, has been slammed by viewers who claim she "didn't listen" to advice from medical professionals ahead of her second pregnancy.
She gave birth in July last year, but the process is only just playing out in season four of the hit-TLC programme launched in the US yesterday.
Amy and her husband Michael Halterman already welcomed their first child, a son named Gage, during a previous season – their new arrival, baby Glenn, has just turned six-months-old.
Fans quickly took to Twitter as last night's episode aired, hitting out at Amy, who stars on the show alongside her sister Tammy.
"Amy is going to use that pregnancy as an excuse to eat unhealthy and not worry about her weight," wrote one fan. Another said: "Amy is doing the same BS like the last pregnancy."
The episode showed Amy indulging in food – the siblings' weight already surpassing 1000lbs.
A third viewer wrote on social media: "Unfortunately, Amy didn’t listen to Dr. Proctor when he warned her of this risk of her pregnancy."
"Amy out here eating like she isn’t already a high risk pregnancy, she’s just adding more bullets to the Russian roulette pistol," added another.
Season four's launch comes after Amy spoke candidly about her second pregnancy – admitting she found out she was expecting after becoming constipated for three weeks.
Speaking in a show clip, she star said there was a "big surprise" for viewers and that her and Michael has been "holding out for a while" with the news.
"Well, we’re expecting another child," Michael gushed. "Baby number two, we’ve been calling it Beanie. We don’t know what it is yet."
Speaking in a confessional, Amy revealed: "Two years ago I was pregnant with Gage because I went to the ER because I was so constipated.
"And with this one, I was like, 'Babe, I haven’t pooped in three weeks! I'm pregnant'."
