10 Ravens on the 53-man roster bubble ahead of final preseason game

The NFL’s 53-man roster cut deadline is Aug. 29 at 4 p.m. ET; by that time, every franchise must reduce their roster from 90 players to 53.

Baltimore could be one of the final teams to figure out their roster, with a team full of talent, and more players on the bubble, than tangible spots available.

The Ravens will practice on Thursday before departing for Tampa on Friday afternoon.

With the preseason finale fast approaching, we’re looking at ten guys on the 53-man roster bubble ahead of Saturday night.

Josh Johnson had a really good performance on Monday night, but with so many other roster needs, Baltimore will likely only keep two quarterbacks.

Gordon III has had a solid training camp, but he’s on a one-year deal, and Keaton Mitchell makes more sense at running back No. 4.

If Tylan Wallace is wide receiver No. 6, then Treadwell, Proche and Black will need huge performances in the preseason finale to spark a potential change of heart.

Ricard has spent time on the offensive line this summer, and the guy previously used as a fullback, an in-line tight end, and an H-back could be in trouble.

The ndrafted rookie has the size and hands to develop into a solid rotational tight end and after his two-touchdown performance Monday, Baltimore could be forced to make a tough decisoin.

He won’t make it to the practice squad and Baltimore could have a decision to make on their fullback.

The offensive tackle position is bascially set, with Sharpe expected to be the odd man out as Daniel Faalele, and Patrick Mekari ascend up the depth chart.

The former Georgia offensive guard is either the 7th offensive linemen on the 53-man roster, or a potential waiver decision and Saturday is huge for his progresssion.

Rayshad Nichols

The addition of Jadeveon Clowney could make things difficult for Nichols with five other talented dfensive tackles already on the roster in Justin Madubuike, Michael Pierce, Broderick Washington, Travis Jones, and Brent Urban.

Malik Hamm

Hamm has shined as a rookie, and if not for the Jadeveon Clowney signing, could have snatched a roster spot with Tyus Bowser likely to miss games.

Kristian Welch

The Ravens seem to like Del’Shawn Phillips, making Welch the odd man out a deep middle linebacker position.

The rookie had seven tackles and a pass defended in the loss to Washington and will need a strong finale to land a roster spot at a deep cornerback group.

Daryl Worley

Worley’s had a strong summer while transitioning from cornerback to safety and shined in the preseason opener against Philadelphia. Worley offers experience and special teams prowess that Baltimore covets.
