Denver Broncos coach Sean Payton continued to shake up the roster this offseason, parting ways with several key starters from the 2023 season.
The Broncos now appear poised to have at least 10 new starters since their Week 1 lineup last year. The most notable change will be at quarterback. After cutting Russell Wilson, Denver will start one of Bo Nix, Jarrett Stidham or Zach Wilson in Week 1 this fall (Nix is the favorite).
Elsewhere on offense, the Broncos will need a new starting center in 2024 after losing Lloyd Cushenberry during free agency. Denver also needs a new starting wide receiver after trading Jerry Jeudy to the Cleveland Browns.
On defense, the Broncos will replace more than half of their lineup from Week 1 last year (although one of the players was merely sidelined by injury last year). The biggest player to replace will be safety Justin Simmons, who was cut this spring.
