Former Fox News producer Jennifer Eckhart has died aged 36, bringing renewed attention to a television career that later became overshadowed by a years-long legal battle involving former Fox News anchor Ed Henry.

Eckhart was found dead at her home in Hobe Sound, Florida, on Saturday, 19 September. The Martin County Sheriff's Office confirmed that her death was ruled a suicide. She had spent seven years at Fox and later sought to rebuild her career through journalism and podcasting.
