You know the drill in fantasy football: DO NOT COME IN LAST.
That’s mostly so you don’t have to hear trash talk about it all year. And for years to come. And so on.
But it’s also because so many fantasy football leagues have a punishment in place for the last-place finisher, sometimes a money penalty, but usually something embarrassing. And NO ONE wants that, especially in the age of the smartphone camera.
So we’ve collected a few we’ve seen around the interwebs that have nothing to do with a monetary penalty to inspire you and your league-mates.
Here you go:

Do the combine
Figured I’d bless y’all’s timeline with a video of the big fella doing his fantasy punishment combine #speedkills @lipe_josh pic.twitter.com/XiwGU9kUGH

I actually love this.
And this!
Last football season I came in dead last in my fantasy football league. As punishment I had to make this wide receiver NFL combine video and post everywhere. Enjoy! pic.twitter.com/zpJxjlzX4R

The whole "spend 24 hours at a restaurant" thing
We’ve seen this with a journalist who live-tweeted his entire experience in 2021. Lee Sanderlin could knock off one hour from his stay at a Waffle House by eating a waffle.
I got some books, some magazines and some podcasts. And two waffles to start.

Underrated, but I like it.

The old "take the SATs as an adult" move
What’s a good punishment for losing fantasy football? Best one ive heard is retaking the SAT
— hunter (@_hunter_ward) August 4, 2022
The punishment for last place in our fantasy football league this year is gonna be taking the SAT/ACT and then posting the score. Like, on a Saturday morning with a bunch of high school students and a proctor. I will not under any circumstances finish last this season.

Do some standup at an open mic night
i have to do an hour of stand up comedy at wolf’s in west tomorrow night as punishment for losing my fantasy football league, so if you could send me any funny story/thing i’ve ever said that’d be great, thanks
