One person was killed and another three wounded during a shooting early Saturday morning inside a neighborhood bar in Pennsylvania, police said.
The gunfire erupted shortly after 2 a.m. in J’s Juke Joint in Munhall, WTAE reported. A sign outside the building reads Public House 40.4, which police said is the former name of the local watering hole.
When first responders arrived on the scene, they found several shell casings and evidence of a shooting. It appeared at least 13 shots hit the front exterior wall of the bar. What exactly occurred in the moments leading up to the gunfire is unclear.
One man was fatally struck in the shooting while another three people, two men and a woman, were wounded. Police said one of the men is in critical condition while the other two were in stable condition.
None of the shooting victims have been identified.
Residents living in the vicinity of J’s Juke Joint have previously complained about the bar, describing it as a general nuisance where fighting, arguments with neighbors, and even gunfire have happened before.
As of late Saturday morning, no suspects have been arrested. County police are asking anyone with information to call 1-833-255-8477 (ALL-TIPS).
