1,911 transformers shifted or replaced from Bengaluru city's footpaths till March 30: Bescom informs Karnataka HC

BENGALURU: The Bangalore Electric Supply Company ( Bescom) has informed the Karnataka high court that till March 30,2023 ,a total of 1,911 Distribution Transformer Centers ( DTCs) in Bengaluru city have either shifted from the existing footpaths to convenient places or replaced with new spun pole structures.

In an affidavit, TM Shivaprakash , General Manager ( Electrical) Procurement has added that out of the total identified 2,587 DTCs,work pertaining to shifting of the remaining 676 DTCs would be completed by September this year.
