New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is hosting President Donald Trump at Gracie Mansion this Monday, as reported by CNN. This is the first time the president will visit the mayor on his home turf in Manhattan. The event is scheduled ahead of the United Nations General Assembly, where Trump is expected to speak on Tuesday.
This upcoming visit represents the third in-person interaction between the two leaders. Their previous meetings took place in November 2025 at the Oval Office and again in February. While their political ideologies remain starkly different, the pair has maintained a surprisingly functional working relationship.
