AC Milan legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic has given Sandro Tonali a glowing endorsement ahead of his move to Newcastle United. The Italian midfielder is reportedly set to finalise his move to St. James' Park at the end of the week after a stellar season in Italy.
The 23-year-old is currently on international duty with Italy U21s at the European Championships in Romania and a contingent of Magpies' staff have been over there to complete the deal. Tonali's arrival would be a real statement of intent from Eddie Howe's side who are looking forward to a return to the Champions League after a two decade absence.
Former Manchester United and Barcelona striker Ibrahimovic believes Tonali is ready for the Premier League and will only grow at St. James' Park.
