MOHALI: The administration will constitute teams of experts to address issues of waterlogging and flyover beautification projects in Zirakpur. Mohali deputy commissioner (DC) Amit Talwar directed ADC Pooja Syal Grewal to coordinate with National Highway Authority of Inida (NHAI) and make a team of representatives, including experts to chalk out plans to redress the problem.
The flyover beautification project has been in limbo for the past five years even though a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) was constituted in 2019. DC Amit Talwar said, "Our main focus will be on Zirakpur as I have been apprised by residents that they have been facing a major problem which needs special attention. The ADC has been directed to coordinate with NHAI representatives and experts so that a team can be made to chalk out plans to work on Zirakpur."
