Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse teases version 1.3 update for Zenless Zone Zero that will add new characters, events, and more.
The game is described as an urban fantasy RPG. It also features similar gacha mechanics as Genshin Impact. The upcoming 1.3 update is set to arrive on Nov. 6, 2024, and will feature a ton of new content for players to enjoy.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.3 Update
The new story that will be introduced in the new patch will focus on Section 6, which is an elite unit that was tasked with dealing with Hollows. Players will have already met this particular group earlier in the game's main campaign.
The blurb for the update reads that Proxies will need to execute a commission that was requested by the HIA with Yanagi and other Section 6 members.
While this is being done, the celebration of Settlement Days at the Outer Ring is just about to begin, according to Push Square.
The upcoming patch will add two new Special Episodes that are dedicated to Yanagi and Lighter. They will be the ones to headline the two banners in version 1.3. The developers are also adding a ton of new events that you can participate in.
These include The Mystery of Arpeggio Fault as well as the Simulated Battle Trial that will most likely be the main highlight events of the new update.
The former is more of a roguelite, chapter-based event and the latter is a combat ladder where players need to climb as high as they can.
A Ton of New Content
Players will also be able to obtain new characters when the patch goes live, including S-level Yanagi and S-level Lighter. The former wields a Naginata and she is able to accumulate Anomaly Buildup to increase her team's Disorder damage, Gematsu said.
On the other hand, Lighter is also known as "The Champion" of the Sons of Calydon who is able to rack up Morale and can stun enemies. This character's barrage of strikes will also lower your foes' Ice and Fire resistances.
Additionally, HoYoverse is introducing two new A-level Bangboo Baddieboo and Knightboo in the upcoming version 1.3 update. The patch will also include a variety of optimizations to make players' experience even smoother.
There will also be a new log-in event where if players play for seven days they can claim 10 pieces of Encrypted Master Tape. You can also get 10 pieces of Boopon, according to Sports Illustrated.
