Zendaya Trades Her Emmys Gown for an Off-Duty Prada Look on a Gallery Date With Tom Holland

Zendaya and Tom Holland traded red-carpet polish for an off-duty afternoon on September 17, stepping out together for an art gallery date in Los Angeles just three days after attending the 2026 Emmy Awards. The outing, captured by Backgrid, offered a rare daytime look at the couple's personal style away from a step-and-repeat, and it gave Zendaya another opportunity to put her off-duty Prada rotation on display.

For the gallery visit, Zendaya wore a fitted black one-shoulder top tucked into a baggy, low-slung navy Prada poplin skirt with a paperbag waist. She paired the look with Prada boots and a Ferragamo bag, finishing the outfit with statement silver earrings. The monochromatic base of black and navy, combined with the skirt's loose, undulating silhouette, gave the look a relaxed, sculptural quality that read as considered rather than thrown together, a contrast to the fitted, formal silver gown she wore to the Emmys days earlier.

Holland kept his outfit equally casual, wearing a green plaid button-up from Ami Paris tucked into medium-wash jeans, with white sneakers completing the look. He topped it off with a beige baseball cap from Bero, the alcohol-free beer brand he founded, which has become a recurring feature in his off-duty wardrobe and has previously turned up in Zendaya's own street style looks as well.

The gallery date came directly on the heels of the couple's joint appearance at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards on September 14, one of their rare shared red-carpet moments. Zendaya was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for Euphoria's third and final season and wore a sheer, embellished Prada gown with a plunging neckline and a train for the ceremony. Holland wore a black Dior suit. Seeing the pair move from that level of formal glamour to a plaid shirt and a baseball cap within days underscores how differently they dress for public appearances versus their personal time, even as both outings kept Prada in the picture for Zendaya.

The low-key date also continues a pattern that has defined the couple's public style over the past year: high-fashion, designer-driven looks for red carpets and premieres, paired with a much more relaxed, accessible wardrobe for everyday outings. Zendaya has increasingly leaned into archive and current Prada pieces for these off-duty moments, a habit that fashion watchers have tracked since her Emmy nomination announcement circuit earlier this year. Holland, for his part, has become known for folding Bero merchandise into his casual looks, turning the brand's cap and logo pieces into a recognizable part of his personal style since launching the company in 2024.
