Zendaya continued to fuel speculation she has secretly married Tom Holland during an appearance at the 2026 ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday.
The actress, 29, was reportedly overheard graciously accepting congratulations from fellow guests at the star-studded event, according to People.
During the evening, she also appeared to hint at her marital status when host Marsai Martin asked for “a sign” about her private life, with Zendaya briefly showing what looked to be a wedding band to the camera.
On the red carpet, the Euphoria star a bridal-white Eugene Alexander mini dress, which was previously worn by Sarah Jessica Parker in the Sex and the City film, while a longer version was previously worn by Whitney Houston in the late 1980s.
She accessorised the look with two rings on the fourth finger of her left hand.
One appeared to be a rolling ring, sometimes known as a Trinity or Russian wedding ring, alongside a thin gold band resembling a traditional wedding ring.
The Standard has contacted Zendaya and Tom Holland’s reps for comment.
The pair, both 29, first met while filming Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016 and began dating the following year.
They kept their relationship largely private for several years before confirming it publicly in 2021.
The latest speculation comes after Zendaya’s longtime stylist Law Roach suggested earlier this month that the couple may have already tied the knot.
Speaking on the red carpet at the 32nd Annual Actor Awards in Los Angeles, he told Access Hollywood: “The wedding has already happened. You missed it.”

When asked if that was true, he replied: “It's very true!”
It comes days after Zendaya also appeared to wear a gold band while attending Louis Vuitton’s Paris Fashion Week show.
Her jewellery has drawn further attention in recent weeks after she was photographed wearing a subtle gold ring on her left hand during an outing in Beverly Hills instead of her diamond engagement ring.
Zendaya and Holland confirmed their engagement in September 2025, when the actor referred to her as his “fiancée” during a panel discussion.
Both stars have previously spoken about their determination to keep their relationship largely out of the spotlight. Holland told The Hollywood Reporter: “Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible.
“We don't think that we owe it to anyone, it's our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers.”
Zendaya echoed similar sentiments in an interview with GQ, explaining that their relationship is “sacred”.
“The equal sentiment [we both share] is just that when you really love and care about somebody, some moments or things, you wish were your own,” she told the outlet.
“I think loving someone is a sacred thing and a special thing and something that you want to deal with and go through and experience and enjoy amongst the two people that love each other.”
Speaking previously to Elle, she added: “I can't not be a person and live my life and love the person I love. You can't hide. That's not fun either. I am navigating it more than ever now.”
