Zebra, false widow and giant house spiders set to invade Irish homes in coming weeks

The changing from summer into autumn brings a lot of new things into our lives, like orange and brown leaves being strewn across our footpaths, colder weather and pumpkin flavoured things popping up in cafés around the country.

Alongside those things? Spiders coming into our homes.

There are about 650 species of arachnids in the UK and Ireland but only 8-10 of them are commonly seen in and around our homes.
