Zeb Jacobs has been appointed as Rangers ' new academy director
He replaces Craig Mulholland who left his role at the end of the season after 20 years at the club in the latest behind-the-scenes departure at the club. During his time at the club Mulholland has held a number of roles, including football in the community manager at the Scottish Premiership giants.
Jacobs has been working at the club since 2021 as part of the academy structure having left his role as Head of Development at Royal Antwerp FC. Following his appointment, Jacobs said: "I am excited about this new chapter as the academy director of Rangers Football Club. The opportunity to develop the best young talent in Scotland is incredibly exciting, and I am ready to make a lasting impact."
"My relationship with Michael Beale, our CEO and board is already very strong, and we will look to use that to maximise the pathway from the Academy to the first-team. I am grateful for this opportunity and truly excited for the bright future ahead."
