Zayn Malik has sent former One Direction fans into a frenzy after wiping all his social media accounts clear ahead of the release of his brand-new music.
The Pillowtalk hitmaker, 30, has dropped a huge hint that his fresh music is just days away after he took a lengthy hiatus from making music after a two-year hiatus.
The former One Direction singer signed a new record deal with Mercury Records and it looks as though his first single with the new label is set to be released 'very soon' with a pre-save link for his new music already popping up on his page.
Zayn has wiped all his previous photos from his Instagram page, including pictures of his ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid, and their daughter, Khai, 2.
Now, there is just one short clip on Zayn's Instagram page which sees the singer sitting on a motorbike while revving the engine - and the miniscule clip has sent his adoring admirers into complete meltdown.
"New music from Zayn oh my god," one excited fan penned, while another echoed: "Cannot believe Zayn is gifting and blessing us with music after sooooooo long. This has made my 2023."
"ZAYN IS BACK ONCE AND FOR ALL," another enthused.
While a fourth fan quipped: "Sorry guys, but Zayn is back and he's ready to steal Harry Styles' place on the throne."
It comes after One Republic’s frontman Ryan Tedder told Capital that he has been working alongside Zayn for the past eight months as he looks forward to fans finally being able to hear his new sound.
“I was floored by his voice. Absolutely floored. I was like, okay, this guy's nuts. I've been working with Zayn for the past 8 months," Ryan shared.
Zayn was previously signed to RCA Records but is now with Mercury Records, who also have Post Malone and One Republic in their roster.
Label president Tyler Arnold told Billboard: "As soon as ZAYN and I met, I knew we had to work together.
"I was blown away by the new music, but just as impressed by his vision, drive and spirit.
"We’re honoured he and his team have joined us at Mercury Records. We’ve got an incredible opportunity to tell the next chapter of his story together."
