Zayn Malik has been charged with four counts of harassment against Gigi Hadid and her mother Yolanda Hadid.
The 28-year-old has “agreed not to contest” the charges, TMZ reported.
It means that the British star will not fight the harassment charges in court.
As a result, Zayn has been placed on 90 days probation for each count - 360 days in total.
He is required to carry out an anger management class along with a domestic violence programme.
Zayn must also have no contact with Yolanda or a security guard who was present during the incident on 29 September.
According to court documents obtained by the PA news agency Zayn allegedly swore at Yolanda and told her to “stay away from my f****** daughter” and called her a “f***ing Dutch s**t.”
He is also alleged to have “grabbed and shoved” Yolanda into a dresser, “causing mental anguish and physical pain”.
Zayn has adamantly denied “striking” Yolanda Hadid, the mother of the model and Malik’s girlfriend Gigi Hadid.
The claims were first reported by US showbiz website TMZ where a “source with direct knowledge” about the situation told the publication that Yolanda claims she was “struck” by the singer last week.
It was also reported that the 57-year-old was “seriously considering” filing a police report.

“As far as we know, there’s never been an issue between Yolanda and Zayn,” TMZ reported.
Gigi previously told Harper’s Bazaar that Malik and her mother got along well.
She said, “he’s usually on my mum’s side,” adding: “So, he’s smart in that sense.”
The Pillowtalk singer also provided a statement to TMZ where he “adamantly” denies striking Yolanda.
Zayn told TMZ: “I adamantly deny striking Yolanda Hadid and for the sake of my daughter I decline to give any further details and I hope that Yolanda will reconsider her false allegations and move towards healing these family issues in private.”
The former One Direction member also took to Twitter and posted his side of the story to his 31m followers.
In the statement, Zayn describes himself as a “private person” and explained that he “wants to create a safe and private space for my daughter to grow up in.”
“A place where private family matters aren’t thrown on the world stage for all to poke and pick apart.
He continued: “In an effort to protect that space for her, I agreed not to contest the claims arising from an argument I had with a family member of my partner’s who entered our home while my partner was away several weeks ago.”

The 28-year-old added that “This was and should be a private matter but it seems for now there is divisiveness and despite my efforts to restore us to a peaceful family environment that will allow me to co-parent my daughter in a manner in which she deserves, this has been ‘leaked’ to the press.”
“I am hopeful though for healing for all involved with the harsh words shared and more importantly I remain vigilant to protect Khai and give her the privacy she deserves,” Zayn concluded.
Meanwhile, Gigi has requested privacy at this time and is focused on her daughter Khai.
“Gigi is solely focused on the best for Khai. She asks for privacy during this time,” her rep shared with E! News.
As this story developed, it was also reported that Zayn and Gigi have broken up after dating on and off for six years since 2015.
The pair share a 13-month-old daughter Khai, who they welcomed in September 2020, after reuniting in 2019.
“They are not together right now. They are both good parents though,” a Hadid family friend told PEOPLE. “They co-parent. Yolanda is of course very protective of Gigi. She wants the best for her daughter and grandchild.”
Yolanda, who was a model and is best known for starring in US reality TV show The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, is yet to publicly address the situation.
