Zara shoppers were in stitches after spotting an unusual image of the brand's crochet shoulder bag online.
Parody Instagram account Awkward Zara has also built a loyal social media following, thanks to its frequent tongue-in-cheek posts which mock some of the brand's quirkier outfits, as well as some of its more eccentric campaign and website photos. The account already boasts 68K followers.

Zara fans are accustomed to the brand's signature aesthetic, with models regularly posing on its website at unusual angles, more commonly associated with magazine editorials. Some products are often photographed posed on inanimate objects like teddy bears, food and more.
Though this serves to highlight Zara's trademark style, it can sometimes make it difficult for shoppers to figure out how to style certain products - with @awkwardzara taking every opportunity to show the funny side. This was the case when the comedic account shared a photo of Zara's Crochet Shoulder Bag with Knotted Texture.
The bag costs £29.99 and comes in mustard yellow, ecru white and pistachio green. The bag features an all-over crochet design and is complete with a shoulder strap. In the image shared on Instagram, the green version takes centre stage, with various food items surrounding it and placed on top of it to create the illusion of a face.
Captioning a carousel of Zara photos, @awkwardzara joked: "'therapist: “can you describe the dream to me using only the contents of your fruit + vegetable drawer?”' Followers and Zara fans alike took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the image.
Sheryl said: "This is going too far now". Liv said: "fever dream level 100".
Aimee said: "I mean none of it's necessary but wtf is that hand doing".
Other shoppers simply posted crying laughing emojis while some tagged their friends to direct them to the post. You can find your nearest Zara store here.
