Zara has become the latest high street chain to start charging shoppers to return items bought online. The £1.95 fee was brought in on May 3.
Shoppers have been told this will be deducted from the refunded amount. An email from the fashion retailer said: "Returns of orders placed from 03.05.2022 onwards will have a cost of 1.95 GBP, that will be deducted from the refunded amount."
Zara says customers can still return items purchased from its website to any store for free. Other high street chains including Next and Uniqlo already charge for refunds.
