THE Green Party of England and Wales (GPEW) has voted to support a major overhaul of the BBC, including plans to "mutualise" the broadcaster and hand audiences a direct role in how it is run.
Delegates at the party's conference, taking place in Brighton from Friday until Sunday, passed a motion setting out a wide-ranging vision for culture, media and sport, describing them as essential public goods that contribute to democracy, wellbeing and social cohesion.
