The search for Nancy Guthrie took another confusing turn this week. A viral Facebook post made bold claims about the case, and it quickly spread online. Soon after, pop culture commentator Zack Peter shared his reaction in a video on X. The post came from a user called The Midwest Pundit, who promised a big update. Later, he claimed that a person known as “Bitcoin Guy” had key details. He also said this person was paid and had shared emails about what may have happened. Zack Peter listened to all of it, but he did not sound convinced.
He pointed out that some of the claims were things people had already been thinking. For example, the post said Nancy Guthrie may not have survived long after she went missing. Peter said many had already feared that, given her age and health. He also questioned how someone could claim to be just an “eavesdropper” in such a serious case.
