The Jets’ players voted Monday for three captains for the 2022 season with the first game just six days away against the Baltimore Ravens.
Quarterback Zach Wilson was voted as the offensive captain, linebacker CJ Mosley for the defense and cornerback Justin Hardee for special teams. The coaches will vote for a fourth captain before each game.
The trio of captains this year are no strangers to wearing the “C” on their chests. All three were captains in 2021 and Mosley was also a captain in 2019 before suffering an injury in the season-opener against the Bills.
Put yourself in the coaching staff’s shoes for a moment. Who would you vote as the fourth captain?
