Zac Efron made his first red carpet appearance in three years on Tuesday as he stepped out for the premiere of his latest movie, The Greatest Beer Run Ever.
The 34-year-old was all smiles at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival - a week after responding to rumours he had undergone plastic surgery on his face.
Baywatch star Zac looked dapper in a grey suit coupled with a black polo neck shirt and black shoes.
Fans had suspected that the Greatest Showman star had had work done after his jaw line appeared different in a cameo appearance in Bill Nye's 'Earth Day! The Musical' video.
However, Zac later revealed the change was down to a shattered jaw, which led to issues with masseter muscles in his cheeks.
Speaking to Men's Health for the October 2022 cover story, he explained he actually shattered his jaw while running in his house with socks on. The actor revealed he had slipped and hit the corner of a fountain before passing out.
He said his 'chin bone' was 'hanging off' his face.
While recovering from the injury, his facial muscles got 'really big' so he teamed up with a physical therapist to help with it.
"The masseters just grew," he said. "They just got really, really big."
Zac was undeterred by the Internet rumours, however, which he first learned of from mother, Starla.
"If I valued what other people thought of me to the extent that they may think I do, I definitely wouldn't be able to do this work," he added.
Another rumour surrounding Zac, meanwhile, relates to a possible High School Musical reunion after he teased a return to the franchise by posing outside a major location from the series.
The actor shot to fame back in 2006 when he first starred as the character Troy Bolton, before reprising the role in 2007 in the first sequel to the film, and then again in the third instalment in 2008 – the first to be on the big screen.
While he has since distanced himself from the High School Musical franchise, a new Instagram post has signalled that he had made a full return to the character that made him world famous.
Taking to Instagram, Zac shared a photo of himself posing outside a building with his hand held in the sky, and added a caption: "Don’t you… Forget about me" alongside a fist emoji.
While the caption is a reference to the iconic 1980s film The Breakfast Club, there was no mistaking the fact that the backdrop to his photo was that of the East High school building.
