Yvonne Connolly enjoys romantic Malahide outing with partner

Yvonne Connolly is embracing the sunshine as she enjoyed a romantic Malahide outing with her partner John Conroy.

The loved up pair explored Yvonne’s former local seaside town on Sunday. They ate at Seabank Bistro in Malahide, where they enjoyed some fish and chips.

John posted a selfie of the pair with the caption: “On the way to #seabankbistro #malahide with my love @yvonneconnolly_ what a great day” and Yvonne commented: “It was perfect”.

The couple first met on the set of John's film ‘Dark Touch’ in 2012 when Yvonne’s daughter Missy featured in the movie when she was just 10 years old. Before that, the former Irish model was previously married to Ronan Keating and they share three children, Jack, Missy and Ali.

Yvonne has most recently been in the news after voicing support for her son Jack during his stint on Love Island. Jack revealed in an interview that his mother was a big fan of the dating show and was “ecstatic” upon learning that he would be hopping on a plane to Casa Amor.

“My mum is a Love Island fanatic, she has watched the show every year. She was absolutely buzzing, she couldn’t believe I was doing it,” 23-year old Jack previously revealed to RSVP Live.

Yvonne is also passionate equestrian but suffered serious facial injuries after being kicked in the face by a horse in 2019. She later went on to compete in a race for Irish Injured Jockeys in the Curragh Racecourse.

She told the Jennifer Zamparelli Show: “We are heavily involved with horses, it is a huge passion of mine and over a year ago, I had a freak accident. I was in intensive care, and I nearly lost my eye and my eyesight."

She said the ordeal was “a difficult time for her” due to both her physical injuries and the shock she endured afterwards. Her recovery took roughly a year.
