YouTuber narrowly escapes while performing stunts on Chennai-Bengaluru National Highway

CHENNAI: YouTuber TTF Vasan narrowly escaped a bike accident while performing stunts on the Chennai-Bengaluru National Highway on Sunday evening. Baluchetty Chathiram police registered a case under the charges of rash and negligent riding and endangering the lives of road users.

Vasan, 23, a resident of Ambattur, and his friends were headed from Chennai to Mumbai to attend a bike race to be held in Rajasthan on Saturday. After they held up in a sudden downpour on Saturday evening, they temporarily halted at a Dhaba near Sriperumbudur. Later, they stayed at a hotel in Kancheepuram and they started their journey from Kancheepuram on Sunday evening.

Police said Vasan skidded off his Suzuki Hayabusa bike while he was wheeling on the vehicle near Thamal in Baluchetty Chathiram police station limits. An investigation officer said, "The biker was riding more than 120 km/hr speed, citing the video footage leaked on media."

In this accident, the bike rolled on the road before falling into the ditch on the left side of the road. Vasan who was wearing a headgear, spinal cord guard, knee and ankle guards and other gadgets rolled on the road and fell on the farm fields.

The fellow riders and friends rushed Vasan to the Meenakshi Medical College hospital, where he was treated for first aid. Vasan suffered a fracture on his right hand. Doctors examined him with a CT scan and MRI scan to check if there was any bleeding injury on his head or any vital body parts.

As nothing worse happened, he was allowed to go with his friends to Chennai for further treatment and stayed in Chennai.

YouTube vlogger and motorist TTF Vasan, who was previously booked for rash driving, was injured Sunday after his bike stunt on the Chennai-Bengaluru highway went wrong.

On information, the Baluchetty Chathiram police registered a case under two Sections of IPC (337 and 297 of IPC) and further investigations are on. His bike was seized from the accident spot and taken to the police station for further investigation.

As per the Sections slapped on Vasan, he can be fined up to Rs.1,000 and/or six months imprisonment. Further investigations are on.
