Youtuber Faces Federal Charges For Helicopter Fireworks Stunt

Youtuber Faces Federal Charges For Helicopter Fireworks Stunt

A popular YouTuber known for his car-related content is facing serious federal charges after allegedly orchestrating a dangerous stunt involving a helicopter and a Lamborghini. The 24-year-old YouTuber, who boasts a large following on social media platforms, is accused of directing a video where fireworks were launched at a speeding sports car from above.

The Department of Justice recently announced that the YouTuber is charged with causing the placement of an explosive or incendiary device on an aircraft, a federal offense that carries a maximum penalty of ten years in prison if convicted. The video in question, titled 'Destroying a Lamborghini with Fireworks,' was reportedly filmed without proper permits and has since been removed from the internet.

In the video, the YouTuber is seen activating a 'fire missiles' button while two individuals aboard a helicopter shoot fireworks at the Lamborghini as it races through a desert landscape. Authorities believe the footage was captured at the El Mirage Dry Lake Bed in San Bernardino County, located northeast of Los Angeles.

Despite attempts to reach the YouTuber for comment, he has not responded to inquiries from the media or his talent agency. The Department of Justice confirmed that the individual appeared in court and was released on a $50,000 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for July 2, and no plea has been entered at this time.

The YouTuber, known for his 'car shenanigans,' has gained a significant following for his daring and often controversial content. In addition to the helicopter incident, he has entertained his audience with various stunts, such as filming passengers during rapid acceleration and taking a Lamborghini through a gas station car wash.
