On Saturday, October 14, Logan Paul, a well-known figure in social media, WWE, and now boxing, will square off against Dillon Danis. A high-tension battle will take place in the bout at Manchester’s AO Arena.
The YouTube sensation will make a significant advancement in his professional boxing career with this 10-round bout in the cruiserweight division, which has a 200-pound weight restriction.
The YouTube star has been involved in professional boxing for some time and has already faced famous opponents.
Paul(0-1) will be going for his first victory as he has only competed once as a professional boxer, losing to KSI at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on November 9, 2019, through split decision.
Danis (2-0) will make his boxing debut, four years after his last match in mixed martial arts. He has two professional matches under his belt, both of which he won in one round, against Max Humphrey and Kyle Walker.
“Why did I pick Dillon Danis?” said Paul in media reports.
”He doesn’t deserve me, but he does deserve to get the absolute s— kicked out of him. If I get to be that person, that’s very exciting to me because, let’s be honest, nothing about Dillon’s striking is mesmerizing. Nothing about Dillon’s striking makes you think twice about the danger on the feet. But he can sell a fight, bro,” said Paul in media reports.
“He’s a good troll, he’s done a great job, I’ve got all the back end, and he’s got none of it. So s—, keep lining my pockets, shout out. He gets a flat rate. I don’t even have a flat rate,” said Paul in media reports.
Paul vs. Danis is the People’s Main Event, with KSI and Tommy Fury serving as the main event.
