King Kenny won't allow his YouTube boxing return against Faze Sensei to go to the judges' scorecards after having his debut win overturned earlier this year.
Kenny, a star of the popular British comedy troupe Beta Squad, was announced as the winner on the night when he faced Thomas 'Faze Temperrr' Oliveira back in March in controversial fashion. But the governing body; the PBA, decided they would recall their judges and rescore the bout due to safety issues during a chaotic event.
Upon rewatching, the bout was retrospectively awarded to Oliveira, and Kenny had to settle for defeat to start his boxing career. Now he faces his rival's old coach and relative combat sports veteran Isiah Ocasio-Pantoja, better known as Faze Sensei in what could be argued is a step up in competition.
Kenny comes from a boxing family including his brother and head coach; former fighter Daley Perales. But Faze Sensei has a lengthy background in kickboxing and karate, giving him a perceived edge over most YouTube boxers when he decides to compete.
"I don't want it to be another overturned situation," he told Mirror Fighting ahead of the fight. "I need a clean win this time, I don't hate him, he's a good challenge, a good fighter and I'm not going to do all that fake beef s*** because I don't have any beef with him
"He's just a good challenge for me to fight and a better opponent - Thomas and I are cool because we're not fighting each other and my business is not with him. We keep it nice and civil and keep moving forward, [the result] was some bulls*** but it is what it is."

Oliveira and Kenny had fought with a "winner take all" stipulation for their purses, meaning the victor would be paid the loser's base payout along with their own. But Kenny refused to confirm to Mirror Fighting who ended up taking home the payday given he would have been awarded the win on fight night.
He has been training with Perales since his debut in an effort to make sure there is no mistake in his return to action. The London native also spent a considerable portion of time at Wild Card Boxing Gym in California during a trip to film videos for Beta Squad.
"I'm confident in my ability and confident in my skill," he added. "My last fight I wasn't really 100 per cent, some reasons for that will come out in a documentary. We've had a look at Sensei's history and I think it's within my skillset to take him, it's going to be a very good fight because he's going to come in good and I'm not going to underestimate him but I think I'm better."
