A Youtube prankster has claimed he was behind the sex noise prank on BBC's Match of the Day on Tuesday night (January 17). Fans of the BBC One show became confused after the rude sounds disrupted the coverage of the FA cup clash between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Liverpool.
Jarvo69, also known as BMWJarvo, who has dubbed himself as 'the greatest prankster of all time' on his channel, streamed a video to Youtube on Tuesday night, titled 'We Pranked Wolves vs Liverpool FA Cup Sex Sound!'
In the clip, which has since received thousands of views and hundreds of comments, the Youtuber is seen appearing to call a phone, moments before the rude sounds are heard on the BBC's live coverage.

Those in the video can then be heard laughing as the sound is heard multiple times before BMWJarvo, the man claiming to be behind the stunt, is urged to 'ring it again'.
Gary Lineker, who professionally addressed the blunder live on air, later revealed a mobile phone had been found taped to the back of the set. On Twitter, he posted: "Well, we found this taped to the back of the set. As sabotage goes it was quite amusing."
Viewers immediately took to social media, with some saying the noise was driving them 'bonkers' as others questioned what was going on.
@Bilangwela tweeted: "Some weird embarrassing background sound playing live on BBC One. Someone is losing his/her job" as @DSE1316 wrote: "@GaryLineker omg that noise whilst trying to listen to you on the @BBCOne is driving me bonkers!"
BBC has said they are investigating the matter and apologised to viewers. In a statement, a spokesperson said: “We apologise to any viewers offended during the live coverage of the football this evening. We are investigating how this happened.”
