YouTube boxer KSI's new opponent Swarmz vows to "smoke" former friend

YouTube star KSI has been told that he will get "smoked" in his hastily-arranged comeback fight against former friend and rapper Swarmz.

The pair were once close, and performed together on the Top 10 single Houdini, which at the time of its No.6 peak in the charts was KSI's best-performing song to date. But their relationship quickly went sour when there were issues around appearances to promote the song, and the pair had a brief back-and-forth before Swarmz was signed up as a back-up opponent for KSI's return fight.

KSI had agreed to face Alex Wassabi in a long-standing grudge fight, which had only heated up after the American beat his brother Deji, on August 27 at The O2 arena. But when Wassabi pulled out after suffering a concussion, the rapper was drafted in as a replacement, which has irked fans who are concerned at his lack of boxing ability.

But the musician has taken to social media to react to the negativity surrounding the fight, promising fans that he will pull off one of the biggest upsets in YouTube boxing history. He posted a response video on his YouTube channel, in which he watches KSI's recent video speaking to fans about the disappointing rescheduling.

"Hold on a minute, why do people keep saying my name wrong?" He asked fans in his response video. "My name's Swarmz, bro, just watch when I get in this ring, I'm going to smoke this guy - watch, I'm a mad man.

"I've got a question for all of you KSI fans; do you really think that this doughnut, who never takes his bandana off his fat head, is going to beat me? Swarmz is the guy to know you out August 27, mate."

And Swarmz wants to channel his inner Donald Trump and shave KSI's head in front of The O2 arena immediately after their fight. The former United States president was a reality TV host and WWE star before he ran for office, and famously shaved then-WWE CEO Vince McMahon's head at WrestleMania in 2007.

"If I beat him, he has to go bald," Swarmz said. "I have to shave his head in front of 20,000 people in The O2, are you going to accept the challenge, yes or no? Look into the eyes and tell me that I'm going to lose on August 27, you know what's going to happen.

"Don't worry about me looking intimidating, just know that this right hand is going to be going straight with an uppercut. Yeah bro, I'm cocky, I'm a cocky b******, I'm going to tell you what I'm going to do to you. I hope your little family and that ain't coming either, bro, because I'm going to embarrass you."
