Your iPad is getting a blockbuster upgrade from Apple this month

Budding movie makers will soon be able to produce slick Hollywood-style films right from their iPad thanks to the launch of Final Cut Pro on these devices. Until now, this premium software has only been available on premium laptops and desktop PCs - but that will change from May 23. That's the date that Final Cut Pro will go live on the App Store and become fully compatible with the iPad.

Along with arriving on these more portable gadgets, Apple is also making some changes which it says will improve editing on the move. These include an all-new interface and intuitive tools that take advantage of the touchscreen.
