Youngsters at Douglas Street Early Learning and Childcare Centre, in Paisley, are set and ready for their next big steps into primary school after a fun-filled graduation ceremony.
The ceremony was the first time since the pandemic that the excited pupils could have their parents around to see them on this moving day.
Nursery teacher Morgan Vandal said: “The children had a party and a snack. The parents then came in and we showed them a slideshow presentation and then the children were presented with their certificates. The parents got to stay and have some strawberries and cream.
“The children really enjoyed it and loved watching the slideshow and being presented with their certificates. The parents got to see it this time this year and they really enjoyed seeing their children get their certificates.”

Ten thrilled pupils graduated – eight are heading off to primary school and two are starting a new adventure at a different nursery.
The children going to primary school are all looking forward to the fresh start and have had their introductory visits already, so they are primed and ready to go.
Morgan and the rest of the nursery team wish them all the best in the future.
