Legendary television entertainer and musician Johnny Young has been remembered as a man who brought joy into millions of Australian homes and a songwriting genius in his own right.
Young, who has died aged 79, became best known as the host of the long-running Young Talent Time, which ran from 1971 to 1988 - outstaying Ian "Molly" Meldrum's Countdown (1974-1987).
