CBS has officially confirmed that George's funeral will be featured in an upcoming episode of Young Sheldon, the prequel to The Big Bang Theory. The fate of the Cooper patriarch has long been established, with his death occurring before the events of the nerd-centric sitcom began. While the specifics of George's death remain uncertain, Young Sheldon has decided that his demise will take place before the series concludes.
The title of Young Sheldon season 7, episode 13 has been revealed as 'Funeral,' indicating that the episode will focus on the aftermath of George's death. This development suggests that the tragedy is imminent, with just four episodes left in the prequel series.
