Young Scottish man who cares for orphaned brothers diagnosed with terminal cancer

A young Scottish man who devoted much of his life caring for his three younger siblings following the tragic loss of both parents, has been given six months to live.

Jamie Murray, who has lived in Ladybank, Fife, all his life, was diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer with the disease spreading from his colon to the lining of his stomach just weeks after experiencing symptoms.

The 32-year-old was only 19 when his mum Shirley passed away just days after learning she had lung cancer. Jamie was then left to care for his three brothers Callum, Scott and Glen once their dad Jim, 66, died from an aneurysm.
