A young Scots woman who desperately needed a liver transplant has died after a 'very hard fight' with a rare condition.
Casey Adams, from Fife, passed away on May 17 after battling Autoimmune Hepatitis or AIH - a rare condition estimated to affect 10,000 in the UK.
The 21-year-old's condition had deteriorated by March 2022 and she was told she needed an urgent liver transplant.
