A young Scot paramedic who had never smoked died months after being diagnosed with a rare form of lung cancer.
Meadhbh Cameron was told she had weeks to live just two days before Christmas after coughing up a blood clot during a shift in September. The 24-year-old married police officer Lee Cameron shortly before her death on March 11.
Meadhbh had no noticeable symptoms before coughing up a blood clot and only suffered from an intermittent nighttime cough but a scan revealed a shadow on her lung.
