A mum-of-four turned to sex work to fund her £200-a-day heroin habit.
Jade Taylor-Harrison was caught red-handed supplying two men in an alleyway by Aldi.
The 29-year-old was arrested, officers recovered £270 and a list of sales as the mum confessed to 90 drug deals of crack cocaine and heroin a week.
She was released about five weeks later, but was soon stopped and searched in Newcastle again with officers finding even more cocaine and heroin on her.
Taylor-Harrison claimed she was £800 in debt after the prior arrest and would be stabbed if she didn’t repay the money.
On top of her debts, Taylor-Harrison confessed she was using between £160-£200 of heroin every single day.
She funded her drug habit through prostitution and now she has been jailed for 27 months at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.
Prosecutor Caroline Harris said that a plain clothes police officer saw her hand two men something in an alley besides Aldi, shortly 2pm on September 4, 2020.
After calling in assistance Taylor-Harrison was arrested and searched and police recovered £270 cash alongside a list of her sales.
In her police interview the defendant said she sold the two men two wraps of crack cocaine for £35.
Taylor-Harrison admitted to having a heroin habit and that she had been recruited by her dealer who she refused to name.
She went on to confess she was selling 90 deals of heroin and crack cocaine a week.
Then, only a month later, on October 14, she was stopped again and found to have more drugs and cash on her.
Once again she admitted to selling drugs on someone else’s compulsion but refused the name them and said she would be stabbed if she didn’t repay a £800 debt she owed.
During this she also confessed to a £160-£200-a-day heroin habit.
Taylor-Harrison, from Chell Heath, pleaded guilty to two charges of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug; two charges of being in possession of a class A drug with intent to supply; and failure to surrender to bail.
Robert Holt, mitigating, said the defendant is now on a methadone script and it is hoped she will not need drugs or any substitute in six months.
He said a friend has offered her a home at his address in Abbey Hulton.
Mr Holt said: "She intends to distance herself from individuals. She will move away from her chaotic lifestyle."
He said the offending happened nearly two years ago and the person who was directing her is now in custody.
Mr Holt added that Taylor-Harrison has started to re-engage with her four children.
Recorder Richard McConaghy said the first arrest should have been a shot across the defendant's bows.
He said: "Just over a month later you were seen by police again. You had eight wraps of cocaine and one wrap of heroin and £240.
"I do not underestimate the pressure put on those in your position. Class A drugs have a horrendous grip on individuals. They destroy lives of users and damage the community.
"You are beginning to realise it is something you need to move away from. But it is not something that happens overnight. It is going to take time and effort on your part to do it.
"The warning shot was sent to you in September 2020 but you ignored it. You were arrested for the supply of class A drugs and a month later you committed the same type of offending again."
The judge ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs and phones and ordered the forfeiture of £510.
