Cristiano Ronaldo has made one young fans day ahead of Manchester United vs FC Sheriff by taking him onto the team coach to meet his teammates.
United are in Moldova for the second match of their Europa League campaign and will be looking up pick up their first win against Sheriff after they were defeated by Real Sociedad at Old Trafford last week. The game isn't taking place in Sheriff's home city of Tiraspol, in the unrecognised breakaway state of Transnistria, and instead in the country's capital of Chisinau.
As a result, Erik ten Hag's side have plenty of local support despite playing away from home and have certainly been given a warm welcome by their Moldovan hosts. A massive crowd of fans gathered to catch a glimpse of United's stars as they looked to board their team coach after leaving their hotel, with many even attempting to break through security guards to get even closer to their heroes.

One was successful, too, as several viral social media videos show a young child deceptively weaving his way out of the grasp of a guard in a mazy dribble that Ronaldo himself would have been proud of. The youngster breaks the tackle before making a beeline for the Portuguese superstar with his arms outstretched.
Ronaldo opened up his own to accept the embrace and then went a step further and welcomed the child onto the team bus with him, presumably to meet the rest of the squad
Ronaldo earned high praise from supporters for his generous gesture from fans on social media. One fan wrote: "Such wholesome content," while another added: "What a biggest personality. What a brand .. Simply G.O.A.T things."
"That’s why he’s the goaat the absolute goat," added another, while the child also got commended for his excellent run. "Kudos to that relentless kid. Hahahaha," one fan tweeted.
