A young man who died in a Christmas Eve car crash in Galway has been named locally as Jamie Barrett-Morley.
The 21-year-old from Monivea died in a single-vehicle crash on the R347 between Annagh Hill and Palm Tree junction, near Ballyglunin in Tuam during the early hours of December 24.
Locals have been paying their respects to the Galway man, who will be laid to rest on Wednesday.

His funeral is due to take place on Wednesday, December 28, Galway Beo reports.
Tragically, Jamie was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to University Hospital Galway, where a post-mortem will take place.
Jamie was the beloved son of Elaine and Christopher and the brother of sisters, Alana, Emma, Lauren and Rebecca.
He will be deeply missed by his grandad and nanny, the extended Barrett and Morley families, uncles, aunts, cousins, neighbours and friends.
Jamie will repose at his family home on Tuesday, December 27 from 4pm to 8pm. There will be a private removal at 11:30am on Wednesday, December 28 to Sacred Heart Church, Ryehill, Monivea for requiem mass at 12 noon.
The burial will take place in Tobair Padraig Cemetery, Ryehill, Monivea.

One person commented: "My deepest condolence on the very sad loss of your son and brother. May his gentle soul rest in God's arms. No words can heal your hearts right now. But in time your memory's of Jamie will bring some comfort. You are all in my thoughts and prayers at this time. Rest in peace Jamie."
Another wrote: "Don't no ye but deepest sympathy on the loss of your lovely son, grandson, brother, friend. Praying for you all on this Christmas day my god watch over u all may your son rest in peace."
A third person posted: "Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We were so sad to hear of the passing of Jamie and can't imagine how difficult this is to comprehend. Jamie was a pleasure to work with and always had a smile for everyone. May his soul rest in peace."
