Young man dies hours after going to bed with cough in Edinburgh home

A young man tragically died at his Edinburgh home after going to bed with a cough.

Marius Timofte, from Alnwickhill, felt feverish on Saturday March 11 and is understood to have phoned his mum in Italy to tell her he was unwell.

The 33-year-old delivery driver said that he was going to take some medicine and get a good night's sleep and would let her know how he felt in the morning.
