Young Lanarkshire man missing since weekend spotted in Greenock as cops launch appeal

A young Scots man has been reported missing as the police appeal to the public to help trace him. Dylan Sewell, aged 21, was reported missing from Motherwell on Sunday, August 21.

However, he was last seen in Finnart Street, Greenock, between 12.30 pm and 1pm on Wednesday, August 24. Police Scotland say he is known to frequent Coatbridge and Glasgow city centre as well as Greenock on this occasion.

Dylan has been described as 5ft 10ins in height with black hair. The 21-year-old had been wearing glasses and a black North Face tracksuit when he was last seen.

Constable Lauren Sands of Motherwell Police Station said: “We would ask that anyone who has seen Dylan or knows where he is contact police. He is known to frequent Coatbridge, Glasgow City Centre as well as on this occasion Greenock.

“We’d also ask Dylan to get in touch with police to let us now he is safe and well.”

Anyone with information is asked to call the police on 101, quoting reference number 0668 of Sunday, August 21, 2022.
